Peter & Dean harvesting Grasshoppers - July EDGE Camp 2009

Peter and Dean, proud and able hunters.  Here they  show off their prowess, quickness and agility in harvesting a very important protein source in preparation for their Rites of Passage.  Way to go guys!

We are currently accepting  registration for The EDGE May 2010.  (Only eight spaces available.)  Learn more here.

“The EDGE camp was outstanding and exceeded my expectations.  Your curriculum and intensive training got me well prepared for my solo overnight adventure.  I would recommend this camp to anyone young & old alike, male or female.  All the best.” ~  Dr. Dean G.  Professor Columbia University.”

The tension is palpable as each member of the group prepares to leave the security of camp.  Each person one by one, quietly slips away into the early morning light for two days.  Taking with them only the clothes on their back, water, a knife, and the knowledge and skills they have learned in preparation for these wilderness rites of passage.

The EDGE defines our strengths and purpose. The EDGE is where the magic is made, where the fire burns, tempering and strengthening the will. The EDGE is where we risk all for the sake of our desires and dreams.”
