First Circle Camp Survival Training
Our First Circle Camp is the Standard, the beginning camp, the first circle camp in the series for adults. Take your journey to become proficient and eventually master the art of wilderness survival. Much more relaxing and informative than our extreme EDGE camp, First Circle is perfect for beginning wilderness student. This is an excellent program for men and women who already have experience in the outdoors but are interested in adding to their knowledge base and experience in wilderness survival.
As with all the camps, this is an exclusive experience providing personalized attention and instruction. You will not find modern comforts and amenities at Lifesong… this is a wilderness survival camp. But you have a staff that is supportive, professional, fun, and ready to assist you during at all times.

We enjoy serving delicious and savory dishes for you during camp. Cooking with Dutch ovens is a real treat for all of our guests. Many of our clients tell us that they eat better at camp than they do at home. We do our best to make our meals just as exciting as the rest of camp.
Along with great food, dramatic vista’s, and personalized attention, wildlife is always high on the list at camp. In August we were lucky to see a juvenile Pine Marten, Bald Eagle, Columbia Black Tail Deer, and many other creatures great and small.
Of course, survival skills are what we do and learn at camp and Shawn in his “Fire Dance” expresses the enthusiasm for success.
