Each course is limited to a maximum of ten (10) participants, which gives each student a dramatically increased learning and skill level.
Fire making courses will include both basic and advanced techniques. One match fire, flint and steel, bow drill, hand drill friction fire, natural tinder, making cordage and string with plant fibers.
“Carrying a lighter to make fire in an emergency is smart thinking. But, unless you know how to make a fire from scratch the possibility is very real that the only guarantee a lighter will provide you with is a sore thumb and a miserable cold night out.” ~Mark Wienert
