Custom Camp gives you the opportunity to pick one of our many custom courses. Lifesong will make every attempt to accommodate your desires for a custom survival training experience.

Perhaps you want to bring your family, or you want to share a great experience with your best friends. Alternative High Schools take advantage of our Custom Camps for their students.

If you are a corporation, we can design practical team building concepts using our wilderness survival methodology to engage your staff and get those creative juices flowing.

About Custom Camp

Custom Camp is for everyone. We are able to adjust to your specific needs. Contact Lifesong and tell us what your interests are. We’ll work to create the perfect adventure, for a weekend, a week or longer.

Perhaps you just want to learn primitive skills and bush craft. Friction fire fascinates everyone. Maybe you have always wanted to make willow baskets or learn pit cooking. There are many choices for you.

Learning the art of nature awareness and tracking wildlife is another favorite with our students. Nature awareness involves many of your senses, sight, sound, smell and develops your innate intuition. Learn about wildlife behavior and how to deal with unexpected encounters.

Maybe you want a one-on-one guided day hike, or an overnight to a week long backpacking adventure.

Wild plants interest so many these days when we are inundated with chemically processed foods, prescription drugs we aren’t sure what is safe anymore. Time to return to the basics. Gardens originated with the wild plants indigenous peoples learned were safe to eat or used medicinally. We share with you the abundance of wild plants and their many valuable qualities.

Birders are welcome. Watch the Bald Eagles and Peregrine Falcons squabble over nesting rights. There is an abundance of wildlife to observe and to capture on camera.
