What a
weekend !

Mini Camp
is a great way to escape and experience wilderness survival
for a weekend. It is an opportunity to get a taste of
survival and nature awareness skills in just three days.
We
will discuss the importance of —
-
Shelter - that may be found or constructed
quickly
-
Water - where to locate water and how to filter
and purify
-
Fire - single match fire, construction, safety
-
Food - wild edible, where, what and how
These
four are the basics of survival whether you are in
the wilderness or not.
We love nature
in all it's forms, but we especially enjoy observing animals
in their natural environments. While we are searching
about for shelter and discussing the best option for fire materials,
we will be on the look out for animal tracks and sign.
A
weekend packed full of inspiration, education and
