Family Wilderness Survival Skills Camp
Family Wilderness Survival skills camp is for children age 9 ~ 13, accompanied by one adult, parent, or legal guardian.

Summer Family Camp is all about sharing the wonders of natures wild places with your child or children. A child’s sense of wonder and excitement, upon experiencing new adventures, brings shear joy to everyone.
Safety is paramount at Lifesong and we emphasize its importance in all outdoor activities. It is our goal to provide a supportive, nurturing and learning environment.
The days at camp are filled with discovery. Besides learning basic survival skills, everyone will experience the art of nature observation, tracking wildlife and hiking . Always a big hit with everyone!
Children are adept at survival. They have a natural propensity for finding shelter and hiding when lost or frightened and often survive scenarios adults find challenging.
Children love learning outdoor survival skills. These are valuable skills for everyone, you never know when they will come in handy, and children are exceptional at retaining this information.
Games and stories round out your camping adventures. Our games build self-esteem and encourage teamwork. We gather round the campfire in the tipi at night, where we share stories about nature encounters and campfire legends.
Family Wilderness Survival Camp will offer plenty of time to relax and explore your surroundings. Family camp is fun, rewarding, and an unforgettable camping adventure.
Family Camp 2010
For 2010, we are combining our Family Camp, ages 9-13, with our summer Teen Camp, ages 14-15. This camp date is July 11-17, 2010. This camp will be held at our primitive field summer location in northern California. Students, ages 14-15, are not required to have an attending parent at camp.
Tuition $925 includes one parent and one child, ages 9-15. Additional family members are $200. Please contact us for availability.

Family Camp 2011
This camp will be held in the beautiful foothills of the Cascade mountains of Washington State. Located 50 miles from Seattle, this camp is complete with beautiful meadows, forests, and a river to splash in. With easy access if driving or flying to camp.
