Survival Camp News
The big news we have our 2021 camp and course Calendar updated.
Oregon Survival School News
Our first scheduled class for 2021 is the Oregon Survival School Intro to Survival Trapping. Trapping for food is a core skill in survival training. And a skill to study, learn, and become proficient in.
Useful Early Spring Plants. The focus of this 2-day class is early edibles on the Oregon coast. This is always a fun class but doubly so as we discover edible and useful plants, conifers, fungi, and other plant kingdoms.
Go to the Oregon Survival School page to see all scheduled classes.
California Survival Camp News
First Circle Camp is open for registration for these months. June, July, and September 2021. This is good news. For now, Advanced Survival Training and THE EDGE are not on the Calendar. Plan to attend these two courses in in 2022 by taking First Circle this season.
Texas Camp News
We have rescheduled our March Texas survival training for March 2022 as the risk of infection and spreading COVID-19 grows.
Winter Camp News
I have started planning for Winter Camp, December 2021. Or early January 2022. The details are not posted yet but will let you know when they are. Winter Camp will be held east of Portland, Oregon within the Mount Hood National Forest.
A happy conclusion for this Oregon family stuck in the snow.
Teen Camps 2021
Because of COVID-19 and the risk involved we are cancelling our Teen Camp programs, 2021. We look forward to 2022.
The Pandemic Toll
Over 375,000 people have died in this country as of January 12, 2021 due to COVID-19. I do not know about you, but that number of deaths representing family, neighbors, and friends. Is hard to wrap my mind around. I grieve our collective loss.
I'm looking forward to getting the vaccine to do my part to help build our countries herd immunity. Then, by spring we can once again visit our friends, neighbors, and families.
